After a long day of fun with the family and then flying, I returned home at 11:15 p.m. and realized though, it had been an excellent day, I hadn't done anything new yet.
I'm thankful a friend had bought me this gift!
I was unfamiliar with Alfred Camus (I regret not being a literature major) and I had not read any of his works, except for this book of excerpts.
I read most of it before midnight and the ideas and push-backs artists and writers dealt with in 1957...we (if I may be so bold as to call myself a writer in this little blog) are still dealing with today...freedom, rejection, consent, constraints and creation.
What is art?
