Yet, never had I pumped gas in a "certified, approved" container before.
I don't know if it was the new ethanol technology, the nozzle, rotary encoder, the submersible pump, the coefficient of thermal expansion or the old school can that made it so tricky -
Or maybe it was the person pumping the gas...
I finally figured it out - not a drop of gasoline was spilled - thanks to the vapor recovery system. It set me back $2.99 to fill the can and the lawn is now mowed.
