1/16 Bernard A. Harris, Jr

More snow!
We headed to the Washington State History Museum for a special (and free) MLK Jr. Celebration.
We heard from a Tuskegee Airman and the first African American to walk in space - a real live (retired) astronaut people!
It is sobering to stop and think about how the past has paved a way for me today and it is exciting to think that we are all "born multi-potential!"
Living History
(tried taking a picture with my camera-but the quality-no es bueno and this one is much cooler!)
As Mr. Harris shared, my daughter took my notebook and wrote "What is your dream?" with a space for me to fill in the blank. That warmed my heart! I also got a little misty eyed when we repeated "I am an infinite being with infinite possibilities" and I looked over and she was sitting straight in her chair, repeating this loud and clear with a sparkle in her eye and a smile on her face.
What is your dream?
