Loteria

You might not remember much from your high school Spanish class, but you may remember playing Loteria.  It's like bingo only with pictures and in Spanish, of course.

Feel lucky or lost?

This book could have very easily been a story about my family that is, if people hadn't made the really hard (at the time) choices they had. It's kind of crazy to think about...my family could have very easily turned into the hurting, selfish, pain-inflicting Castillo family.
Prison.
Death.
Abuse.
Abandonment.
Addiction.
That's some hard reality.
