Wander Well

Lots of people chose words of the year.
I'm going to be one of those people this year.
The word of the year is - WANDER

:to walk or move in a leisurely, casual, aimless way. (I'll probably wander swiftly-I walk fast.)
:to extend in an irregular course or direction. (most people think I do this anyway)
:to move around or go to different places usually without having a particular purpose or direction (Work will be taking me all sorts of places and so does trying new things)
: to follow a path with many turns (Life has been doing that since the beginning!)
: to go away from a path, course, etc. (I was in my last job for 13.5 years so I'm definitely going away from a known path)
I want to wander. But I want to wander well. I want to write down what I see, who I meet, what I experience.I have no idea what this year is going to hold - I'm starting a new job, I'm still writing, I'm still trying new things...I don't have control and I don't know where I'll end up, but I'm very thankful my family is willing to wander with me...wherever that may be.

I'm a double winner.
1. I'm friends with colouranddust
2. I'm the proud owner of this print with the wise words of J.R.R. Tolkien
(even the envelope is pretty)
I'm willing to wander and see where it leads.
I believe there is beauty to be found in the aimless journey.
Wander or plan?
What's your word of 2015?

Wicks Lake Park

"Is this it?" I don't know. Is this where we park? I don't know. Is it safe? I don't know. Where do we go? I don't...
