Tennessee State History Museum

Had a layover in Nashville and got to see my momma!
We wandered around the Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park and I look forward to going there again on a warm day. In one area there is a salute to veteran remembrance and another area there is a nod to country singers....Nashville!

We ate at the Farmers Market located right next to the museum.
There are a plethora of options. We chose Mexican. (Are you surprised?)
And we added some peach cobbler, because, the south.
It hit the spot and was very affordable. I appreciated the owner of the restaurant, as I asked if he would please help me practice my Spanish and he was happy to oblige.

Museums are fascinating, heart-rendering tomes of human disaster and triumph, leaning heavily on the disaster side, as there are collections after collections of war. It makes one weary.
Perhaps that is why moonshine was invented....

How do you rid yourself from the weight of the world?
