When you're in Palm Springs you need refreshment and you can find it in a myriad of forms and places. Today I walked over to Monster Shakes.
Their shakes look delicious, but overwhelming for one person. I hate to waste and I'm trying to watch my waist, so instead I opted for a cup of seven different flavors of Dole Whip. Yes, you read that correctly. I had only ever had the iconic pineapple Dole Whip, so, of course I had to try all the other flavors - mango, lime, lemon, orange, cherry, raspberry and strawberry. (I did not try watermelon, because, grody.)
It was a refreshing treat indeed, the personnel joyful and totally worth the walk in the uncanningly brisk Palm Springs weather.
